Linsey graduated from UC Berkeley in 2008 with a double B.A. in Cognitive Science and Linguistics. She is a graduate student in the Cognitive Psychology program at Northwestern University. Her research with Dedre Gentner explores analogy and similarity in learning. With SILC she is currently investigating the role of spatial analogies in graphical reasoning. Additionally, she is examining the unique contributions of comparison and contrast in children’s acquisition of shape categories.
